Professor Michael A Kamm

MBBS MD FRCP FRACP

Gastroenterologist

Michael Kamm has a passion for medicine.  His goal is to get patients better, and he will go the extra distance or use whatever techniques or treatments that are necessary to achieve that.  He will be very active with drug therapy, if that's what's needed, but is equally skilled at using a range of holistic, alternative or other therapies.

Michael Kamm investigates and treats all luminal gut disorders.  His special interests are in the inflammatory bowel diseases (ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease), and functional gut and pelvic floor disorders (such as heartburn or reflux, abdominal pain, constipation, diarrhoea and faecal incontinence).

Michael Kamm spends half his time in clinical practice and half in research and teaching.
